Cafe/Restaurant - Sold Out

Scrummy become our regular spot for dinner in Jalan Ipoh area. It is a nice cafe for all time meals including hanging out with friends for a little chat.
So what I am going to talk about today is about few things.

First, Scrummy have new menu for all kind of pasta. I'm not with them 100% for this but it seems not bad trying out new thing, especially with pasta. They use local cuisine flavor concept push to the top with pasta combination. A normal Aglio Olio they can come up with few choices like Chicken Aglio Olio and Beef Aglio Olio. (wait..I think they also have Pasta Eggs Aglio Olio..YES! They have it!).
The prices are range from $RM 11 to $RM 12, just the pasta of course.
I think they are not the first to do this. Well, blame on my lack of experience in this.
I had Chicken Aglio Olio tonight and I always isn't a fan of chicken breast(Well, you know what they gave me). Beef Aglio Olio isn't bad. I tried before.

RiverCity car park is no longer free for first 2 hours. The new fee effective from 1st July with free parking for first half hour and then $RM 1 for sub-sequence hour. $RM 2 for weekend and public holiday PER entry. It's bad news for us because we always dine-in there (2-3 times a week) and we wont finish the dinner within 30minutes.....right? Will you?
For those who dine-in the same area, please take notice. Hehe. (Lebih one...none of my blog readers are nearby)

Anyway...
Do you notice about my post title of this one?
'Sold Out'
Yes!

I came across this many times dining in different restaurants and they have one in common which is they labelled the
NOT AVAILABLE
items to
SOLD OUT
in the  menu!

I was wondering. Was it really SOLD OUT?
NOooo...it wasn't! Why? Because they put sticker in the menu!
If you come back restaurant the next day, you will still see stickers on it.
So why Not-Available item you label it as Sold-Out?
To impress customers that your items were really sold out on that day. That customers might thought the food was actually fantastic til it sold out.
?!?!?@?!?
Hmm....strategic?
Tell me what do you think?

Okay.
That's for today.
Enjoy.

Import Blog/RSS into Flipboard for Ipad 2

I've read some articles about importing RSS into Flipboard for Ipad but I can't find the best way to do it. However I'm going to show you the way I import RSS or Add blog into Flipboard.

Since search engine from Flipboard is supported by Blekko, it makes a lot easier to search and add. I'm not sure it is the best way, but at least it works for me. :) Just make sure your searching content is within Blekko's search engine capability. Hehe...

Here's my steps:

1. Click "+More" box and then Search page will appear from left side.

2. Key in your search content. If you know the URL it would be easier. Otherwise search by keyword like "Malaysia Food"

3. Select the content you want, and it will import into your Flipboard immediately.

4. Done! Just as simple as that! The reason why no pictures appear in the box is due to the RSS created by blog owner that he limits the content feed to part of article without photo.

Step 5: Next, if you want to see the full article, just click the article "View Original Article" button.

Step 6: Dah...! Here's the full article with photo.

... I know, you must be thinking its not as what you wanted because you would like the photo to display on Flipboard....well, if you dont like this way, then i suggest you to use Google Reader. But I've tried already just now with the example content I posted above. If the blog or website owner doesn't allow photo in the RSS feed, then you still wont get the photo even though subscribe the blog/website using Google Reader.
Thanks to Flipboard for the latest update v1.5
It's awesome experience with all the new features in v1.5
Enjoy guys!

Sushi Zanmai 1U - family trip

My family paid a visit yesterday-Saturday. I was actually quite annoyed with the coming because of my physio exercise in the morning I was tired but they are family. Family is family. So we all went to One Utama shopping and jalan jalan...you know its difficult for one male bringing 7 female here and there. It was big group!

I was the only one who bought clothes. Using ipad 2 to take some photos during my changing clothes session, with my cousin's help. Here's my pose :p

At the end I bought 2 long sleeves from the right. It's 1Malaysia Carnival Mega Sale 50%, I must suck it up! LOL....

For dinner we had Japanese food. It is always the same question when it comes to eat.
"Jiak Sia Me?" (What to eat?)
Since most of them are strangers to Japanese food, so I suggested Sushi Zanmai.

Was lucky we were the 1st in the queue, and waiting for a table with 8 seats. We ordered damn a lot of food..repeated dishes..haha. They didn't like Unagi but like chicken....typical hokkien people. LOL.
I ordered Choco Banana for dessert. As usual, my favorite! Thought of not enough so ordered Macha Macha also for the rest of them. But funny ended up I had to let them take my Choco Banana because they didn't like green-tea flavor. Haha.

I guess another happy ending but I was so tired. The food price also increased compared 2-3 years back. My salary now still the same 2-3 years back, LOL. Yet, there are a lot of people queuing up for the food. I shake my head, though...
Enjoy my photos :)
